Distribution of medicines to underprivileged people, including senior citizens.
We can make a significant difference in the lives of underprivileged individuals, including senior citizens, by ensuring access to vital medications. The foundation’s commitment to this cause will help improve health outcomes and enhance the well-being of those who most need it.
“To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.” ― Gautama Buddha
Below are our broad initiatives
- Medication Procurement: Collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, wholesalers, and suppliers to procure medications at discounted rates or through donations.
- Collaboration with Government Programs: Partner with government initiatives that provide healthcare services to underprivileged individuals. Collaborate with schemes such as free healthcare programs, community health centers, or public hospitals to complement their efforts in medication distribution.
- Medication Distribution Centers: Set up distribution centers in underserved areas, including communities with a high concentration of underprivileged individuals and senior citizens.
- Outreach Programs: Conduct outreach programs in collaboration with local community organizations, NGOs, and healthcare providers to identify underprivileged individuals, especially senior citizens, who are in need of medication assistance. Raise awareness about the availability of free or subsidized medicines.
- Mobile Dispensaries: Deploy mobile dispensaries or health vans equipped with necessary medications and healthcare professionals. These mobile units can reach remote or marginalized areas, providing on-the-spot medical consultations and distributing medications directly to those in need.
- Donations and Sponsorships: Seek financial contributions and medication donations from philanthropic individuals, corporate entities, and organizations that share the mission of improving access to healthcare for underprivileged populations. Utilize these resources to expand the scope and reach of medication distribution.
